"The Tonkotsu ramen was okay, but the pork was really good, the broth was average. Karagee was good, sushi was really nice. The staff were fantastic"

"My family and I had a beautiful meal here for our last dinner altogether in Bali! The food is such excellent value and it’s presented so nicely. They also have an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu and are able to offer gluten free soy sauce. What stood out the most was how kind every staff member is. They were all so friendly, funny, and went out of their way to make our last meal extra special. I would definitely recommend adding this restaurant to the top of your list to visit if you’re in Uluwatu!"

"The food was amazing. The fish was really fresh — we had tuna, shrimp, and salmon sushi, and everything was fresh and delicious. We also tried the gyozas and the salmon croquette, which were both very good. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and crème brûlée — both were excellent. We definitely want to come back. The service was incredible as well. Rafqa took care of our table and she was very nice and attentive to everything"

"Amazing experience - the food was some of the best Japanese food I have ever had. I got the set menu and every item was incredible. Their tonkotsu Ramen was probably my favorite version ever - both the broth and noodles were unreal. And our server Serasi went above and beyond to take care of us, he knew exactly when to bring out the next dish and refill our water, etc; he was so kind and attentive and made our time even more special! Highly highly recommend!!!"

"We came to Shaka Riki twice during our short 4-day stay in Pecatu, Bali (Jl. Labuansait), and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. We started both visits with the salmon nigiri, which was unbelievably fresh and melted in your mouth. I ordered sushi each time, including the Freestone and Curren roll with avocado instead of spinach—they were happy to accommodate, and every bite was delicious and beautifully presented. My husband had the tonkotsu ramen, with its rich, creamy broth and tender noodles—he loved it so much, he ordered it both times. I enjoyed the dragon fruit juice with no sugar, hot green tear which was light, refreshing, and a perfect match for the meal. The customer service was consistently top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The environment is clean, stylish, and relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. 5/5 – Shaka Riki is a must-visit if you’re near Uluwatu. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Bali!"

"Really good raw fish. I had the small tuna poke (watch out, it has no rice!), and avocado tuna roll. All delicious! Downgraded: salmon poke bowl - if ordered again, ask no cucumber, no wasabi, no coriander, no rabanito, but OK. Watch out: there are lots of mosquitoes Complimentary miso soup was amazing"

"The food here is fantastic – the katsu curry and ramen are absolute standouts, with great value for money. Service overall was really warm and friendly, and the staff made us feel very welcome. One note: on our second night visiting, the young male host at the door tried to turn us away at 9:25pm, even though the restaurant clearly closes at 10pm. It seemed like he wanted to wrap up early, which wasn’t a great experience. Thankfully, the waitresses quickly stepped in, were super sweet, and even made me an origami stork for my birthday – which completely turned the night around. Would still highly recommend for the food and overall atmosphere – just hope the front-of-house host improves his approach."
